What is TeraBridge?

TeraBridge is a self-hosted accelerated file transfer platform built for broadcast and media production. It runs on your own Linux server, mounts your existing SAN, NAS or local storage directly, and moves files with the TeraBridge Protocol at 10Gbps+ speeds.

How does TeraBridge compare to IBM Aspera?

TeraBridge delivers comparable 10Gbps+ transfer speeds with its multi-stream TeraBridge Protocol, at a fraction of the cost. It also mounts your storage directly instead of making you work through bucket-based workflows, and it sets up in minutes rather than days.

How does the TeraBridge Protocol reach 10Gbps?

The TeraBridge Protocol (TBP) splits each transfer across up to 24 parallel TLS connections with certificate pinning, which keeps a long, fast link full instead of waiting on a single TCP stream. In testing it reaches 95%+ bandwidth utilization, moving a 500GB project over a 10Gbps link in about 35 minutes.

Is TeraBridge self-hosted?

Yes. TeraBridge runs on your own Linux server or cloud VM. Your files move directly between your machines and your storage and never pass through TeraBridge servers.

Which operating systems does TeraBridge support?

The TeraBridge server runs on Linux. The desktop agent, which handles accelerated uploads and downloads, is available for macOS, Windows and Linux.

Is TeraBridge secure enough for unreleased content?

Transfers are encrypted end to end with AES-256 over TLS. Access is controlled with path-based permissions, LDAP and Active Directory integration on higher plans, and a full audit log of who moved what.

How much does TeraBridge cost?
